Now, I’m sure some of you may have asked what does six times faster really mean compared to a level 1 charger. So I’ve prepared a simple breakdown for you to see.
A level one charge that plugs into your standard 120 volt outlet will typically charge your care at 5 mile per hour, this is very slow, and requires you to leave the vehicle plugged in over night to reach a state of charge for a households average miles driven 30.
This means a level one charge takes a little over 6 hours to charge your electric vehicle to go 30 miles. That’ not very efficient.
Comparing that to the SolarEdge EV Charging Solar Inverter, you can expect to see a charge rate of 25 to 30 miles per hour, that means you’ll be able to charge your car in less than an hour to reach the same point of charge with the level 1 took six hours to achieve.
We’ve installed several of these units for customers already, and they are loving them! Some have opted for the inverter with anticipation of owning an electric vehicle in the future. And with the syste
