ABB (formerly Power-One) are a huge inverter manufacturer that manufacture inverters under the Aurora brand in China, Italy, the USA, South Africa and Slovakia.
Although they have not quite got the brand recognition of SMA, I personally rate them as just as good! They have a reputation for reliability and great customer support, and as a bonus they tend to be a bit cheaper than an SMA.
Up to 2013 they were known as "Power One" but were bought out by multi-billion dollar Swiss industrial giant ABB.
ABB are truly a huge company - which makes an ABB inverter a very low risk buy.
