Solar System Service & Repairs
Service Call
If there is a problem with your solar panels, batteries, or system overall, a Service Call is the place to start. A Service Call is a one hour, on-site inspection in order to assess your system components, run tests, and try to identify the source of the problem.
A Service Call results in one of the below options:
1. If the repair can be completed within the first hour and no equipment or material is needed, there will be no additional charges. Your system is fixed and ready to go!
2. If the repair can not be completed in that time frame, an estimate will be provided for what’s necessary to get your system up and running. We will set you up with one of our solar specialists to guide you on your best path forward toward fixing or replacing what's needed.
System Diagnostics
If you need a thorough analysis of your solar panels and system, a System Diagnostics service is the way to go. During a System Diagnostics, a technician will visit your property to perform a thorough review of your solar system.
During this visit, they will set up or update your Pacific Sun customer profile, identify and document all of your system components, record site conditions. They will examine your solar panels, racking, wire management, junction boxes, roof flashings, combiner boxes, disconnects, inverters, batteries, and other components.
Your system production will be confirmed and recommendations given to maximize or increase the efficiency and performance of your solar power system.
Inverter Replacement
Key signs that your solar inverter needs replacing include a significant, unexplained drop in energy production, consistent red flashing lights or error codes on the display, and frequent system shutdowns.
Do these problems sound familiar? Then it may be time for a new inverter.
We will send a certified technician to your property who is equipped to handle a wide range of inverter issues, from minor glitches to major malfunctions. They will perform a thorough assessment of your solar inverter to identify any issues affecting its performance.
If repairs are not cost-effective or if the inverter has reached the end of its lifespan, a new inverter will be recommended. If your inverter is still under warranty, a request for inverter replacement will be submitted to the Manufacturer on your behalf.
Solar Panel Cleaning

Panel Remove & Replace
Getting a new roof? Then you need your solar panels out of the way!
The safe removal and reinstallation of solar equipment during roofing work requires careful planning, experienced technicians, and clear coordination with the homeowner and roofing contractor.
Our process is designed to minimize downtime, prevent damage, and ensure that once reinstalled, the solar system is securely mounted, properly sealed, completely tested and fully operational.
During removal, if it's clear that some of your solar panels need replacing, we'll let you know and provide a quote for the new panels.
Electrical Panel Upgrade
Does your solar system need more power? A larger electrical panel may be the solution.
Main service panel upgrades are required when the existing service panel is under sized to meet your current power requirements. This is common when you add loads such as EV Chargers, HVAC systems, room additions and swimming pools.
A new service panel may also may be required in some cases based on the amount of power you’re backfeeding to your service panel from your new solar system.
